We're so excited to finally share Design Wall with you!
After months of developing, testing, and refining, our little project planning app is ready for the world. Whether you're a quilter, knitter, paper crafter, or any kind of maker, we hope Design Wall becomes a helpful companion in your creative journey.
What is Design Wall?
Design Wall is a digital canvas where you can gather all your project ideas in one place. Think of it as a mood board, notebook, and to-do list all rolled into one — but simpler and more flexible than any of those things on their own.
You can:
- Drop in images from your computer or the web
- Jot down notes of any length
- Create to-do lists to track your progress
- Save website links for tutorials and supplies
- Add simple tables for measurements and materials
And best of all, you can arrange everything exactly how you want it. Move things around, resize them, change colours — there's no "right" way to use Design Wall.
Why we made it
The short version? I (Veronica) was frustrated. Every note-taking app I tried was either too complicated, too rigid, or too expensive. I wanted something that worked the way my brain works when I'm planning a craft project — visual, flexible, and not cluttered with features I'd never use.
So I asked my husband Harry (a web developer) if he could make something better. Together, we created Design Wall.
What's next?
We've got plenty of ideas for features we'd like to add, but we're taking it slowly and carefully. We don't want Design Wall to become bloated or complicated — simplicity is one of its strengths.
In the coming weeks and months, we'll be sharing updates here about new features, improvements, and tips for getting the most out of Design Wall.
